Support Our Little League Challenger Division

A Great Opportunity to Volunteer

University Little League’s Challenger Division is a group of boys and girls with any physical and/or mental challenge, that would like to play baseball.  Each player is paired with a buddy, or two, that will assist with batting, running the bases, and fielding.

We have a 4 game season, every other Saturday, beginning March 31st.  All games are at 9am, on the Volunteer Field.
The purpose of the league is to give the baseball players instruction/guidance in learning basic skills of baseball, but also to have fun.  The Challenger League also provides a little bit of respite for the parents of these baseball players.

We encourage smiles, high fives, and cheering for all players in every aspect of the game. It takes a big group to properly run ULL’s Challenger Division and we’d love to have more volunteers to assist on the field and/or fans to cheer for the players!

If you, or your team, are interested in helping at any of the games please email Chuck & Lori Yielding at
